Fiordland is turning into a winter wonderland. There are plenty of opportunities to gather together and learn and share this May - women’s health series, a sensory play and development presentation, and first aid-for-parents course, to name a few.
There are lots of great groups to join to keep local parents and caregivers going over winter: regular social coffee groups, a new adventure kids group supporting families with neurodiversity, and the regional organisation ‘Parent to Parent’ beginning to run a regular support group in town. We also have Mother's Day ideas and tips for navigating parenthood's mental health challenges in this issue.
