Fiordland Families Newsletter Issue 57 - April 2024

This April kicks off with Easter, Issue 57 of our newsletter, the end of Term 1 at school, and ANZAC day towards the end. There is snow on the hills but still plenty to get out and enjoy, from the forest, local parks (let the district Council know your playground ideas in their survey), and many community events.

Checkout the women’s health series currently running, and the info sessions coming up at the Plunket rooms: sensory play, the tough-stuff of parenting, and a chance to hone your home and lifesaving first aid skills. Te Anau Waitangi Trust are also bringing the opportunity to learn Kapa Haka and Te Reo in April. If you know of any youth needing support to get into work, meet up with Liz at the library during the Taskforce for Jobs drop-in. More details for all of these in the newsletter.
